Microwave Working principle
Microwaves are electromagnetic waves with frequencies between 300 and 300 gigahertz. Water molecules in the heated material are polar molecules, which cause motion and friction between molecules under the action of rapidly changing high-frequency electromagnetic fields, at this time, the microwave field can be converted into heat energy, which makes the material temperature rise, resulting in a series of processes such as heating, drying, sterilization, expansion and so on.
Microwave technology has advantages that traditional drying and sterilization techniques cannot match:
1. Heating Rapidness: Microwave heating only requires one tenth to one percent of the time of conventional heating methods to complete the entire heating process. The material is heated both inside and outside, with a small temperature difference, retaining the nutritional components and flavor of the food.
2. Good sterilization effect: High sterilization efficiency, microwave can heat materials in an extremely short time, quickly reaching the temperature for sterilization and disinfection.
3. Overall uniformity: Microwave energy can penetrate the interior of the material, and its heating process is carried out simultaneously throughout the entire material, with rapid and uniform temperature rise, greatly reducing the time for heat conduction in conventional heating.
4. Energy saving and environmental friendliness: The energy used for microwave is electric energy, which is pollution-free to the environment. Microwave energy utilization efficiency is high, compared with conventional electric heating method, it can generally save 30% to 50% of electricity.
